What are cookies?

Our use of cookies

Good Monday collects traffic data on goodmonday.io for both regular visitors and users of the platform. We use both first-party and third-party cookies to collect statistics and user data in aggregate or individual form. Cookies from Facebook and Google are used to collect statistics to optimize our website and to present you with relevant marketing material in eg. search engines, on social media and in banner ads.

We use the following types of cookies:

Required cookies that help make the website usable by enabling basic features such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. It is about Intercom or JWT - JSON Web Token respectively. The website cannot function optimally without these cookies.

Functional cookies that allow you to store information that changes the way the website looks or behaves, e.g. your preferred language and use of live chat. Functional cookies are not passable.

Statistical cookies that help us understand how visitors interact with the website so that we can improve the way our website works. We use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Analytics and Hotjar for this purpose. All information that these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

Marketing cookies used to track visitors across websites and to create target audience segments for targeted marketing including retargeting on social media, banner ads and search engines. These cookies are collected using Facebook, Google and Linkedin. The purpose is to create targeted ads that are relevant and engaging to the individual user.

Data collection

When you visit our website, we automatically collect a number of anonymous information about you, including your IP address, your operating system and device type, information about which website you came from, your country, the services and products you have looked at or searched for and length of visit to specific pages.

We also process the information about you that you submit to us for example. in connection with user creation on the platform and newsletter signup. These typically include name, phone number, email, company name, and other information associated with your user profile.

How we use your data

The information you provide to us is collected and processed on the basis of Article 6 (2) of the Personal Data Regulation. 1 (b) in order to handle your requests or provide the services and products you have requested. We will only associate your cookies with your personal information if you have been created as a user on the platform and according to your consent to the terms and conditions provided by signup to the platform. In this case, we may use personal information to tailor and provide you with content and advertisements.

If you only use our website without submitting any personal data, the tracking of your behaviour is anonymous. We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer personally identifiable information to external parties without your consent.

With whom we share your data

If you consent to our cookie policy, the personal information you pass on to us, may be shared with the following categories of third parties:

  • Service Providers. We may share any personal information we collect about you with our third-party service partners to provide you with a product or service you have requested.

  • Advertising Partners. We use third party advertising partners to set tracking tools to collect information regarding your activities and your device (e.g., your IP address, mobile identifiers, page(s) visited, location, time of day). These advertising partners include Google, Facebook and LinkedIn. They use this information (and similar information collected from other websites) for purposes of delivering targeted advertisements to you when you visit third party websites within their networks. This practice is commonly referred to as “interest-based advertising” or “personalized advertising.” You may stop or restrict the placement of tracking technologies on your device or remove them by adjusting your preferences as your browser or device permits.

Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purpose for which the information has been collected. For example, if you are a platform user we store your personal information so that we can handle your orders and deliver a proper service. If you withdraw your consent, we will delete your personal information. When you use the website, your cookies are stored for up to one year.

How to unsubscribe from our newsletters

Information collected in connection with your subscription to our newsletter being deleted when your newsletter consent is withdrawn, unless we have another basis for processing the information. You can unsubscribe from our newsletters at the bottom of the emails you receive from Good Monday. Note that you will continue to receive transaction-related emails regarding products or services you have requested.

Your rights

You have a number of rights under the Data Protection Rules when we process information about you, including the right to view information (insight), the right to correct incorrect information about you and the right to be deleted.
